Announcing Zcon2 Lite on June 8th & 9th

Zcon is an annual conference organised by the Zcash Foundation that focuses on privacy-preserving technologies. The first two Zcon events (Zcon0 in Montreal, and Zcon1 in Croatia) were hugely successful but the event of last year forced us to postpone Zcon2.

With ongoing travel restrictions and mandatory quarantines, we’ve decided to stage a virtual (or “lite”) edition of Zcon this year, so we are pleased to announce that Zcon2 Lite will take place on the 8th and 9th of June, streaming via the Zcash Foundation’s YouTube channel, with attendee interaction taking place on Discord.

We have curated a great line-up of speakers and panels. Our theme this year is “Privacy all the way down”. The first day will focus on Zcash and its ecosystem, while the second day will look at broader privacy themes, including new research into zero-knowledge proofs, interoperability, network privacy, and privacy metrics. The schedule can be found here.

You can register to receive email updates and calendar invites for every session. Alternatively, we have a Google Calendar with all the sessions, that you can copy to your own calendar. Zcon2 Lite is free (as in gratis).

Join the Zcon2 Lite Discord server to interact with other attendees, and post questions for the speakers and panels.

Subscribe to the Zcash Foundation’s YouTube channel to watch the presentations and panel discussions, both live during Zcon2 Lite, and afterwards.

Follow us on Twitter for updates, and tweet during the conference using the hashtag #zcon2lite

We look forward to your virtual participation in June, and hope to be able see you all again in person next year!
