What is Zcomm?

Zcomm is a one-day virtual event hosted by the Zcash Foundation that brings together community builders from around the world to share practical skills, tools, and approaches for organizing, educating, and engaging their communities. The focus is on the “how”—how to run events, create content, grow communities, and inspire action.

When is Zcomm?

Zcomm will take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, and will be held entirely online on Youtube and Discord.

Who should attend?

Anyone in the Zcash ecosystem, or beyond, who is interested in learning how to educate, organize, activate, or grow a community. Whether you’re new to community building or already leading local or online initiatives, Zcomm is designed to support you.

How do I register for Zcomm? Is it required?

Registration is optional. If you'd like to receive updates and reminders, we encourage you to sign up — registration will open soon.

How will Zcomm work, and how do I participate?

Zcomm is a fully virtual event streamed live on the Zcomm playlist of the Zcash Foundation’s YouTube channel. Simply join the YouTube livestream at the scheduled session times; no login or special access required. Each session also has its own Zcomm Discord channel, where you can post questions during the talk- speakers will answer selected questions live. If you can’t attend in real time, all sessions will be recorded and available on YouTube to watch later at your convenience.

Is Zcomm focused on Zcash-specific content?

No. While all Zcomm sessions will include a presenter that helps relate the content to the Zcash context, the event is intentionally not limited to Zcash updates or protocol-specific content. Instead, sessions focus on transferable skills, like how to organize hackathons or build strong partnerships that could benefit Zcash and any other communities you engage with.

What topics will be covered?

Is there a cost to attend?

No. Zcomm is free (gratis) and open to anyone.

Yes. All Zcomm sessions will be recorded and made available on the Zcash Foundation YouTube channel after the event.
