Zcon is our flagship annual conference that convenes researchers, developers, and advocates from across the privacy and Zcash ecosystem.
The event celebrates both the ongoing development of Zcash and the wider innovations in privacy-preserving technologies, cryptographic research, and the communities driving this work forward.

Zcon VI
ZconVI, a virtual gathering of Zcash enthusiasts and experts, took place Tuesday, March 4 to Friday, March 7, 2025. This four-day event offered an engaging platform for learning, collaboration, and innovation within the Zcash community.
March 6-10, 2024
Zcon V
The theme of ZconV was Zcash: Unified, which was focused on key community-driven topics inspired by conversations that surfaced across the Community that year.
July 30-August 1, 2023
Zcon IV
The theme was “The Future Has Not Been Written.” This conference strove for all attendees to not only learn about updates in the ecosystem but we hoped to inspire positive change within the cryptography world as well. Zcon4 was held in-person in Barcelona, Spain, July 30-August 1, 2023.
